Wilson House

The significance of the house at 1005 W Cleveland Ave in African American history lies in its ownership by African American couple, Frank and Francis Wilson. Frank, an influential figure in the Northwest, was not only a homesteader and restaurateur but also held the catering contract for the county jail (State Historic Preservation Office).
