Black & Tan Club

The site of significant jazz clubs along Jackson Street, known for being a jazz center in the 1930s and 1940s. First it was the site of the Entertainers Club, then the Alhambra, and finally a site of the Black & Tan. The site is also associated with Black photographer Al Smith who recorded some of the nightlife there.
